701SOCIAL is an exclusive private event space located upstairs from Blue 42 Sports Grille & Bar. With a capacity of up to

85 guests, it’s perfect for any occasion—from corporate meetings and business gatherings to birthdays, celebrations, and

social outings. Please note, this venue is upstairs and there is not an elevator, there is no wheelchair access. We apologize for

any inconvenience. Our dedicated staff will work with you to customize every detail, delivering the premium experience you

expect from Blue 42 Sports Grille & Bar.

By reserving 701SOCIAL, you agree to the following terms:

VENUE RENTAL FEE

  A non-refundable room rental fee is required to secure your event date. This initial payment holds the space for you.

DATE CHANGES

  We will make every effort to accommodate a date change and transfer your reservation. However, any non-refundable

  or non-transferable deposits, fees, or expenses remain your responsibility. Please note that last-minute changes may

  affect event quality, and 701SOCIAL is not liable for any resulting compromises.

CANCELLATIONS

  - Cancellations within 2 weeks of the event date: Full room rental fee is charged (non-refundable).  

  - If the event is postponed due to a “travel not recommended” warning from the NDDOT, there is no cancellation

    charge provided the event is rescheduled within 90 days. Otherwise, a 50% room rental fee applies.

DECORATIONS AND DELIVERIES

  - Personal deliveries are accepted after 10:00 AM on the event day, with prior notification and management approval.  

  - You may begin decorating at 10:00 AM. Restaurant staff are not available to assist with setup.  

  - Only painter’s tape is permitted for hanging decorations. Any damage caused by other materials is your responsibility.  

  - Guests may rearrange furniture as needed, but a $100 cleaning fee will apply if it is not returned to the original

    configuration or if the room is left excessively dirty and/or damaged.

  - All decorations must be removed by the end of the event (or per special arrangements with management) with no

    damage left behind. Glitter and confetti are strictly prohibited.

LIQUOR AND PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES

  No outside beverages are permitted - uncorking is never permitted per North Dakota State Law.

  The bar closes 15 minutes before the event ends. Alcohol service to minors is prohibited, and illegal substances

  are not allowed on the premises.

MENU

  Menu selections must be finalized at least 3 weeks prior to the event. Any changes require management and

  chef approval. Buffet service is portion-controlled (not all-you-can-eat). Additional servings beyond the prepared amount

  will be charged at 150% of the per-person rate. Current food pricing will be sent upon room booking. All food service includes an

  automatic 20% gratuity.

GUEST COUNT

  Provide your final guest count at least 2 weeks before the event. Charges will be based on this number.  

  Additional guests (based on plates distributed) will be accommodated if supplies allow,

  at 150% of the selected meal’s per-person rate.

CHILDREN AND LIABILITY

  All children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  You are responsible for your guests’ conduct and any damage they cause to the property. 701SOCIAL assumes

  no liability for lost, damaged, or left-behind personal property.
